I’ve been in business for 4 years. In that time I’ve learnt a shitload, made decent money, and shaped my business to suit my life AND feed my passions and creativity.

My Own Business Journey

I’m Emma, yoga teacher and entrepreneur at Shine Shakti. I’ve been yoga teaching for almost a decade, and I founded my business in March 2020.

I started small and basic: teaching online classes to friends and family for pennies during lockdowns. And when I became a mother, I didn’t want to go back to a demanding office job. I began teaching in-person yoga classes (at a financial loss, for many months!) and then undertook business mentorship to get clear on my vision and how to make money doing what I love.

I have an online self-paced course, teach in-person and online, and have big plans for the next evolution of Shine Shakti!
